Serves 6 · 2-4 hours
Ingredients
- (For Rub Mix)
- 1/2 cup turbinado sugar
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoon of kosher salt
- 1/4 cup smoked chili powder
- 2 tables spoon cumin
- 1 tea spoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon + 1 tea spoon Black pepper
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- 1tablespoon granulated onion
- 1rack of ribs
Method
- Use your favorite Rub. Sit at room temperature for 30 min.
- Heat the smoker at 250F and place the Rib meat -side up.
- Smoke the ribs until reach 165F internal. Take 2 to 3 hours, depends on the smoker!
- Spray: You can use the spray of your preference. Spray at 1 hours them spray every 30 min.
- Cut two 18x24 inch lengths of foil to wrap each rib each in a tight package.
- Transfer the ribs from the grill and place each rack meat- side down on a sheet of foil. Drizzle the ribs evenly on both sides with the melted butter, honey and fill the Baste Easy with barbecue sauce for better results.
- Return the rib packages meat-sides down to the smoker at ramp the temp to 275F cook for 1:30 to 2 hours until the thickest part of meat read temperature of 203F to 211F.
- Remove from the heat, carefully unwrap the ribs, and discard the foil. Brush with the Baste easy the bbq sauce bots side of the ribs and return them meat- side up to the smoke.
- Cook for 15 min to set the sauce. Watch them carefully so you do not burn or overset the sauce.
