A stainless steel fine mesh strainer in the two sizes most kitchens actually reach for, plus a can strainer. The 8-inch is the everyday one for draining pasta and rinsing vegetables; the 5½-inch is the small one for sifting flour and dry ingredients; and the stretchable silicone strainer clips straight onto a can so you can drain tuna or beans without a colander at all.

Each metal strainer is hand held and laser-welded, with a broad rim and two rests so it sits over a pan or a bowl and holds itself there while you pour. The handle stays cool and gives you something to grip with a full sieve. Dishwasher safe, giftable packaging, 5-year warranty.
