PROS: SOlIDLY well made. Feels balanced, good for those with wrist issues although. (It could use a bit more weight on the head). It has a loop on the handle should you need to hang it.
CONS: It claims to be "Non-Slip Grip". The handle is straight not ergonomic (as shown in photo). It does have soft grooved lines for some slight traction. [It hasn't slipped from my hands yet but I could see it happening to me or (someone else)]. Seems to be made from Nickel, very shinny which has it's appeal but can be a danger I'd imagine if wet or greasy.
Despite it's flaws it is a solid piece. Many Kitchen items break for one reason or another, not this one; Its guarantee says it all. If you believe to have weak fingers or wrists, "maybe" I'd keep looking. Possibly one with an ergonomic or rubber handle. If you are looking for one that feels light yet STRONG, this one is for you. A bit pricey but you get what you payed for. In this case Quality, made for a lifetime.

Use this all the time. Works exactly as intended! Easy to clean. Very functional. People should know this is on the heavier side compared to some others, but works great as a smasher or for grill weight. But, this would be less appropriate as a weight on say a brioche bun that you want to brown in a pan.
