Nice heavyweight garlic press. Easy ti use with mild arthritis in hands. Even better it does as advertised- easily comes apart to scrape off minced garlic that “hangs on”. Have run thru top shelf of dishwasher and it comes clean without garlic remaining in the tiny holes. Highly recommend.
You can crush a clove without peeling through this once then you have to clean it to crush another clove. if you peel it you can just keep grinding through them until you're through a whole bulb of garlic and then just clean it once. it's easy to clean if you crush peeled garlic, it's hard to clean if you crush unpeeled garlic.
