Brilliant press best online, very heavy

I have several kitchen items from this brand and they have all stood up well to repeated use in my kitchen. This burger press meets the same quality as the other items. The press is heavy duty and doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. I use it to make 1/3 lb. turkey and beef patties with ease. I load the bottom plate of the press with the right amount of meat and gently press it into the mold with my fingers and then use the press to apply firm and steady pressure. The handle is comfortable to hold. It makes a nice even burger every time. I will note that the included paper liners are really essential for a fast release from the press. I normally freeze my burgers so I leave the paper separators between the patties and it's super easy to separate them when frozen. I toss both pieces in the top rack of my dishwasher for a fast cleanup. Overall, this burger press not only has a nice appearance but it actually works great for making a good sized burger and it's easy to cleanup! Highly recommended!

This is heavy and easy to use. It’s quite obviously high quality metal. I feel it’s easy to clean and keep clean. I know it won’t rust based on the material finish and quality. It makes the perfect size burger and we love it. We buy a lot of ground beef and preform the burgers before freezing. This is just goi g to make it easier, cleaner and nicer looking burgers. I had always used my hands and honestly it was super messy and the burgers were well ugly. I’m happy and I recommend this and feel it priced fairly.

Performance
I tested the press in a frying pan to make several patties. It does an excellent job of flattening the meat to an ideal, consistent thickness. While the stainless steel is smooth, I recommend using the included 4.75" parchment paper liners (or plastic wrap) when using the mold to ensure the meat doesn't stick to the sides, which makes the patty-forming process much faster.

Value for Money
This is a premium, heavy-duty tool, and the price reflects that. It is not a "budget" plastic or thin metal press. However, given the solid stainless steel construction and the ease of maintenance, this is a "buy it once" type of kitchen tool that should easily last a lifetime.
